Amazed at the quality of the product. It seems extremely robust and well built. Foot switches look like they will standup to heavy use. The adjusting buttons are a bit small but given overall size of the unit, they function well. It would be nice if there was a 9 volt battery adaptor to make unit portable, maybe a clip on extra? ( I have battery powered Roland cube! that lasts 8 hours on a charge!) . My unit is the 'twiggy blues' flavoured unit and is nice and warm sounding and has very useable tones.

So it’s a great buy! I use it to gig on guitar at open jams! But it works great with harmonica. I’m now using it on all my payed shows! It small and has great reverb and delay! I’m a pro, I play 200+ shows a year! This fits my case! I no longer carry a large pedal board!

I am learning Guitar and I first bought a multi effects pedal, but found it too confusing, with too many weird sounds and a little complicated to set up and store other sounds.
this was more from an inconvenience situation, than me being techno dumb.
The Twiggy Blues Pedal has the right amount of effects to enable a good tone for both practice and performance.
The Compressor gives the strings a sensitive edge, which is great for picking out chords.
the Overdrive is not too Overdriven, but is perfect for Blues and Sixties Vibe.
The Slapback delay is great for a bit of Rockabilly or Surf Sounds and the Reverb gives that atmospheric touch.
The Magic is how they all work together and no pressing buttons to store settings.
either remember where you dial the knobs or perhaps use a Sharpie to mark the positions.
So for me, this is probably the only pedal I need, though I may use it as part of a Guitar Pedalboard, with a Boss BluesDriver and a Wah Pedal and perhaps a Looper.

Affordable, quality, versatility.

I love this pedal, im in a Badfinger cover band and also do originals in a band called the Sane Riot, this pedal is my go to!!

Working toward a simple yet effective "Ambient Swells" set-up. VExpress, Twiggy Blues, followed by another delay did the trick. The Twiggy made it all possible!!

I was very impressed with the quality of build, the performance and the price!

Great like the whole pedal series.

Just a nice simple pedal set, seems well built, controls are nice and tactile whilst feeling substantial enough and the effects are good. I particularly like the reverb and O/D.

I tried VERY expensive pedals, Too many wires! I even had Nocturne Mystery Brain, Not worth the hype at all!!! . I figured I needed the expensive garbage for my great Fender Custom Pro amp and Gretsch LE Falcon, Well, I got rid of everything else and the Twiggy Blues has all I need and sounds perfect! I do use the Cab Sim switch. For my setup, it sounds better! More full and the Gretsch Loves it! This setup has tone for years! I am getting another Twiggy Blues. Oh and the expensive pedals did not even come with a power supply!!!! The Twiggy Blues has it all! Very nice sounds and very well made!
Scott S.
Well made, good quality effects in an efficient and reasonably priced package. Does exactly what it wanted it to do. The compression is killer!

SONICAKE Twiggy Blues Multi Effects Pedal is the best thing I've ever had. Small, compact, easy to carry and gives me the sound effects I want.
Thomas L.
I like the basic features of compression, amp distortion, delays and reverb PLUS the speaker simulator with on/off switch is also very good.
The size is also a plus and power adapter has a nice LONG cord on it.
Wish it had a built in tuner function, but that would add to price and size obviously.
Wish someone would supply a way to run it on a rechargeable batter pack as an option.
The reverb sounds nicer than some others to me (subjective I know) and the compressor seems very good to my ear and playing style. (I own an original Ross unit to compare it with) and over all it's a GREAT little unit for the price paid. And additional or replacement power adapters are available from the vendor Oh and lighted dials indicating on/off status is nice.
Some say it's a Dumble in a box. I never played thru a Dumble and likely never will, but it works well for me. As miniaturization continues to improve, maybe these types of units will include tuners AND noise gates at the end of the signal chain. Single coils and high gain don't mix well when it comes to recording and noise levels. Overall a VERY usable and well made, rugged unit. Best wishes to all and keep on playin'. Tom

Got it for home practice rig. Add just a touch of everything and sound is great. Thanks!

The SonicBar Twiggy Blues really is an amazing little piece of work. I was sceptical..... a compressor with TWO knobs?.... a reverb with ONE???? These folks really did do it.... the compressor just plain WORKS....adjust as much or as little as you want and it's "guitar compression" without having to mess with attack decay sustain release etc.... same with the reverb....want more?....turn it up...want less?...turn it down.... The Sonicake folks created these effects for guitar players, not for technicians... a welcome change in today's ever increasing world of high-tech gear. If you think you need a distortion pedal with 8 to 12 knobs...go for it, but if you just want to get that fat, tube sounding breakup that fattens up your guitar sound and gives it some character, you need only 3 knobs. Ok, so I REALLY like this pedal. Even though my VOX VT40X has LOADS of effects and amp sims and cabs, I'm just setting it to a clean amp that lets my guitar's character shine through, and using the Twiggy Blues to sweeten it up....simple, sweet, delicious, and very, very musical. I'll be buying another piece of gear from them in the near future...don't know what yet... maybe the chorus.... the SonicBar is really sturdy....the foot switches are heavy duty, the circuit board is thick....in short, it's DONE RIGHT.

Clean and clear tones to just enough dirt to make me happy. The preamp has a wide tone sweep and with just enough compression makes the notes just blossom. Pretty quiet compressor for what it is. It works beautifully. The delay covers everything that I want out of a delay pedal from slapback to ping pong with feedback. Very competent for what I need. The reverb (Air) does a formidable Fender reverb tone when applied conservatively.
I am a pro solo artist who has downsized. The Sonicake Twiggy Blues pedal starts the chain to a couple of stompboxes and ultimately, my looper. The versatility of the pedal lets me instantly add flavor to a loop or performance at the tap of a foot. What could be easier and provide you with great sound output direct to the board? No one but Sonicake. Indeed.

It's an excellent self-contained unit in a small package. Perfect for my needs

Just got it Saturday,
I have paid much more for EFX Pedals that changed the sound way too much and the Twiggy is very transparent. You need to listen and adjust as needed! These guys made a winner! Highly Recommend this piece of happiness!

This is an excellent multipedal. It’s compact, pedal board friendly, and has so many of the common effects used in a variety of music. When stacked together with some other pedals, you can make great sounds. It has helped me get the play everything from punk to Pink Floyd. A compact, quality product at an amazingly affordable price.

See previous review - just forgot to post a photo of my Open Mic rig. :-)

An excellent idea, pretty well executed. It is great for grab and go jams and Open Mic nights (would love an acoustic version). The only, small, problem I have is that on most of my guitars the neck pickup loses quite a lot of definition through the distortion section - I don't have any 'hot' pickups - Epi 339 standard pickup, Seymour Duncan vintage wound P90. If it was my main effects I would be more fussy but, all I have to do is adjsut a little, for the price, I am well pleased.

Great value for the money. I was new to electric and wanted to get into some pedals for worship without spending a fortune. I am very impressed with this. The lights are a nice touch and the thing itself is solid. The effects are great and blend nicely together. Played Christmas music at church today and it worked like a dream. My only complaint so far is the the distortion on/off was a bit touchy. Overall great product, i would recomend this to anyone looking to try out some effects or to the minimalists out there that appreciate form and function.

The pedal arrived yesterday and I just finished checking it out. Wow! This Twiggy Blues pedal makes every amp I used sound incredible. I love the compressor! I will be getting rid of my other compressor pedal since this one is so good. Every effect is usable and very musical. Well done!!
Massimiliano P.
I like it, but I have only a few observations: the compressor works well with my stratocaster, but if I connect my jackson soloist with the humbuckers pickups, activating the compressor, even without any other effect "on", it generates a slight distortion of the sound, as if the incoming signal it was too powerful; I like the others fx; the reverb in my opinion has the same negligible fault of the Rockstage reverb, it has a too long tail decay, even adjusting it to medium-low values.... but I like it :)

Best damn pedal for the money you should own. This pedal has quality you will not find any where. Are there better pedals out there yes and for 4 x's the money for one pedal. If your a semi pro or hobbyist you wont go wrong with the twiggy blues. And yes if your a national pro player you get your effects free for a endorsement. So do your self a favor and don't waist big money trying to find that right pedal and lose your tail when you sell it because it's just not what I'm looking for. For that overdrive effect tone and I mean a great O/D tone pick up a twiggy blues effect pedal and save your money for your fiddle or a better amp. This twiggy blues is Bada__ and has a great sounding analog delay and a damn good airy reverb sound that puts ALL the medium price pedals to shame, yes ALL mid price pedals to shame. And less than $100.00 dollars, wow. Get one and Keep on playin the blues you'll love it, from a pedal Modder/40 plus yr player.

Upon opening the box, I was very surprised at the heft and apparent build quality. Built a small pedal board for it (sorry for the crappy pic) and plugged in. Immediately noticed the quality of the switches, and I must say that the unit is a tad noisy, but nothing to write home about. All knobs work as advertised and light up to let you know the effect is on. While I haven't really had a chance to work with all the effects yet, I can say this: Plug this in, set the blues driver volume to 10:00, tone and gain at 12:00, then plug it into a Marshall DSL40C, Lead 2 with gain 12:00 and volume where you can stand it, and the sound that comes out would make Ritchie Blackmore stand up and take notice. For less than $90 shipped, 4 quality effects in a well constructed enclosure, the Sonicbar Twiggy Blues 4 in 1 really is a no brainer.

I'm a guy who really likes to keep things simple. when I get to a gig, I want to plug and play - numerous effects and cords are, for me, a real headache. My go to rig for the last several years has been a Fender Mustang III, Cant say enough about this little workhorse. Guitar-cord-amp-done! I recently acquired an old Peavey Bandit teal stripe. I had forgotten how great these little amps are. The cleans are exceptional, the overdrive...not so much. I found this Sonicake Twiggy Blues while searching Amazon for overdrive pedals. After reading reviews and watching videos I decided to give it a try. Wow! Killer little unit, very well built. I broke it in at a bar gig the other night and was pleased as punch. I found every one of the four effects to sound great. Really impressed with the compressor and the overdrive. Combined they produce some very meaty tones. While my Mustang has been a great amp - and super easy to deal with - this Sonicake unit running into the Bandit has WAY bigger balls! Guitar-cord-Sonicake-Bandit-bliss!

Sounds good! Appears to be well made......will carry it as a backup for my main board!

Sonicake twiggy blues buying it I didnt know what to expect for a pedal under a hundred bucks this pedal is very well built to start it comes with a power supply with a very long cord wow it is four pedals in one compression overdrive s delay and reverb this pedal is well worth the money 78.00 bucks it sounds great and you can get a lot of tones out of it cant be beat very happy with the Sonicake twiggy blues
MarkStan
A bargain for 80 bucks. Love the sounds and ease of use.
imnotluckyjustsaved
Love the warm, dumble like overdrive. The analog delay can get that slap tone and the reverb is perfect. Compression can be used as a clean boost with the volume up and the comp down or you can get fantastic compression. Works beautifully with my Gretsch hollow body and my Tele. Fantastic product.
Shint Westwood
Great price, good sounds and quality, work as intended, compact enough for my gigs.

I just got this yesterday. Pulled it out of the box, plugged it in, messed around with each of the effects, and within 10 minutes found my groove. The reverb effect is especially cool. I have several different amps and effects pedals but this is my new general purpose go-to pedal.
tely
Pro sound, simple, easy on the fly adjustment. Metal construction. Dumble like tone, not heavy metal. Think SRV, ZZ Top sounds. Lush reverb, punchy compression and great delay. They got this one right.

Surprisingly excellent! I have a LOT of pedals, including clones I've made by hand, high end boutiques, well known brands (EHX, TC, etc.), and I bought this strictly out of curiosity. Could all of the reviews for this brand be real, or staged? After a month or so, I found myself using this combo more and more. Does it sound BETTER than my other high end pedals, effect by effect? Probably not. Is it MORE than good enough, with the convenience of the 4 effects I use most in one solid tiny package to pack in a backpack for easy travel? ? Yes. Are the four effects at this price better bang for the buck than combining 4 boutique pedals at a total easily 10 times more? You bet! Lots of fun! So, definitely fun, and worth a try.

small and works well with Bugera V5 and G&L Legacy
