Description:
Sonicake US Classic is a headphone pocket guitar amp, plug-in type, designed to give you the tonal mojo of an American classic combo amplifier with the tweed cloth covering, which is widely employed in millions of tracks from the blues and early classic rock era, The Rolling Stones' Brown Sugar to ZZ Top's Brown Sugar. You just can't be wrong with that light fuzzy, edge of break-up sound. Best paired with headphones with higher impedance.

The US Classic comes with a built-in reverb effect, adding additional sonic dimensions to the overall tone.

An 1/8 inch AUX input and a PHONES jack make it way easier for the artists to play with their favorite backing tracks, making it a perfect tool for daily practice and pre-show warming-up. The 1/4 inch jack is for plugging straight into your guitar.

No batteries needed for this pocket amp! It is USB-chargeable, and we've included a USB charging cable within the package for your convenience. One charge will keep you playing for 5 straight hours.

A headphone splitter and a 1/8'' aux cable are also included for extra connectivity, providing more possibilities for various contexts of use.

At first, I thought the headphone amp only worked with the left speaker. My existing headphone speaker was defective. I bought a set of mono headphones with a mono conversion jack adapter—everything sounds good with the SoniCake US Classic. The sounds are limited to a tweed oversaturated reverb, mild overdrive, or clean sound; but, these sounds are great for practicing after midnight—when the rest of the house is asleep. And, well, for $25 bucks, what can a buyer expect? Perfection? Not perfect but definitely doable. Buy the headphone app. It's good.

Indicator lights are really very bright. Use of the Distortion effect causes it to cut out and fade as if it has been turned down and then off. After I initially charged and used it the "Clean" did the same. So I left it on with leds face down overnight and next morning to run it's battery down and recharged. Clean now works OK (for now) and effects still causes sound to cut out. Would return it but shipping and Insurance w/ tracking would be about 1/3 of original cost and IMHO not worth it. Paul R. I love this, Best invention ever. I plug-in my headphones to it and can take it anywhere And practice. I like the sound effects too. Plug in your MP3 player and play along with your favorite songs, while everybody is sleeping or watching TV! Sounds just like my AMP in my ears. Sonicake was a great discovery, love their pedals too.

Shopped around a bit before settling on this model. This is this the first one of these I have ever purchased. Wasn't really sure what to expect as far as sound quality and battery life. I originally had decided on one of the Vox models, but was kind of turned off by the lack of a rechargeable battery. I ultimately decided on the Sonicake. Price was good, reviews were good so i decided to roll the dice on this one. I have been very pleased with this unit. Batter life is really good. The sound quality is fantastic. The included fx are sound really good. Seems to be really well made, it is plastic but doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. I would tell anyone looking for one of these headphone amps to give the Sonicake brand a try. For the money you just can't go wrong. I am now considering picking up one of the other versions as well to have a variety of tones to play with.

I love it. I live in an apartment so I have to be careful about being too loud. Now I can practice late at night and don't have to worry. The sound is amazing for such a small amp. You can plug in your mp3 and the sound is great thru a decent pair of headphones.

I got tired of the more common and more expensive VOX AC30 microamp. I can't compare to the VOX Blues version, but this one doesn't use batteries, which the VOX eats up pretty quickly (AAAs). The mini-usb port is much sturdier than micro-usb which many cell phones have. I'm still a beginner, I can't make a very educated assessment of the sound, but it makes my practice a lot easier without disturbing housemates, not to mention the person in the apartment above.

This is just an amazing little device. You just plug it into your guitar, add headphones and play away. The sound and tone options work great, the battery life is very good and the sound coming out of it is just amazing. For the price you just can��t beat it, it is perfect for practicing where you need to keep quiet.

Great for private practice.

For me, this is really a great little friend. I live in a multi unit condo building so a live amp is out of the question. It's best to use it with my phone to play backing tracks. I tried using a tablet to get music but there was a lot of noise. Not so with my phone. The sound quality is very good and I would buy more like this if they came with multiple sound settings.
