Firmware V1.1.4 Update Guide
Method 1: Update via Old Software Version
1. Connect the Matribox II Pro to power and your computer via USB (Windows or Mac).
2. Download and install the old software version (V1.0.1) from the Sonicake website.
If you're a new user, please start with this version. If you've already installed it before, just open it directly.
3. Download the latest firmware file (V1.1.3) from the website.
4. Open the old software, go to the top-right menu, and select "Firmware Update."
Choose the new firmware file (.bin format) from your folder to start the update.
⚠️ Do not turn off the power during the update.
5. Once the firmware update is complete, download and install the latest software version (V1.1.0) to enjoy all the new features.
Method 2: Force Update via Button Combination
If you opened the latest software first and the screen is stuck, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the power, but keep the USB and power cable connected.
2. Press and hold:
"BANK- " + "BANK+" footswitches and the MENU knob, then turn on the power.
3. Open the software, click "Update", select the firmware file, and wait for the update to complete. Finally, restart your device, and Done!

The Valeton GP200 originally had only 4 CTRL functions, but now it has been increased to 8.
If such features are added in the new firmware, it would be a significant improvement.
It would also be even better if the Bank- and Bank+ footswitches could be used as CTRL functions.
Compared to competing products in the same class, it lacks some effects such as Arena Reverb and Cloud Reverb.
The control functions are still very limited, so it would be great to add more CTRL options.
Additionally, it would be nice if effects could be turned on and off using the hold function,
and if assign functionality could be added to the CTRLs to change effect parameters.
I also think the gap that occurs when turning effects on or off should be eliminated.
The volume pedal also moves in steps when increasing from zero, making it not smooth.
Just because NAM capture files can be used does not mean the product has become excellent.
There is still a lot of room for improvement.
Existe alguma previsão de atualização??? Poderia adicionar mais funções CTRL's? Como por exemplo: CTRL 5, CTRL6, CTRL 7, CTRL8. Adicionar reverb cloud e Arena, e melhorar o efeito de Pitch???? As oitavas desafinam e soam pouco precisas tornando difícil usar o efeito ao vivo... A Valeton GP200 aumentou de 4 funções CTRL para 8 Funções CTRL... Acho que seria uma grande adição para o novo firmware, outro ponto legal seria poder usar os footswitches Bank- e Bank + para ligar funções CTRL...
A pedaleira é boa, bons efeitos e funções interessantes.
Porém na minha opinião a fabricante poderia melhorar muitas coisas visto o potencial do equipamento, falta ainda alguns efeitos se comparado as concorrentes da mesma, arena reverb, cloud reverb por exemplo, a controlabilidade ainda está muito limitada, poderiam colocar mais CTRL's, colocar a possibilidade de ligar e desligar efeitos tbm na função hold, implementar assigns para os CTRL's para mudar os parametros dos efeitos, retirar o GAP ao ligar ou deligar os efeitos, o pedal de volume tbm tem relevos "degraus" ao aumentá-lo do zero...
Enfim, ainda dá pra melhorar muito.
Tem bons efeitos, modo fácil de operação, bons recursos... Porém acho que poderia ter mais funções CTRL... Ex.: CTRL 5, CTRL 6, CTRL 7, CTRL 8, pelo menos para a função hold que dessa forma não fica vago de funções CTRL... E efeitos de Reverb como Arena Reverb... Cloud Reverb... Efeitos de delay como ICE Delay... Melhorar o efeito de Pitch!!! A pedaleira tem ótimos timbres de amplificadores... Bons efeitos... Estou feliz com a aquisição!!!
After the firmware and software update I'm having problems in uploading the NAM files as it gives me an error and won't upload and the only 2 files I was able to upload in the unit the sound doesn't come of at all
Can you guys try and fix this as I would love to try the NAM files option
