100% Klon. Low noise, natural, organic..nice array of bright to warm settings

Oops they did it again! 🎶 🎵 Sonicake just casually releases a Klon Klone that sounds 100% authentic for 40 bucks.. The pedal looks so plain, but thats Sonicake. No flashy day glow aliens, satanic monsters or cute artwork. Strictly business. 3 modes. Silver mode is regular mode, the other 2 modes seem slightly warmer, & lower gain. This felt like a Klon, compared to my other one (that’s 5x the price) it sounded like the same basic circuit, touch dynamics are sensitive and soulful..
Great for classic rock, electric blues or even higher gain rock stuff.. the gain on a Klone can really breath fire, especially when boosted or cranked a bit. This felt exactly like you expect, and better.. it seemed perfectly balanced for my Les Paul @ Deluxe Reverb, the Trio made me sound like my guitar and amp, not like a pedal. Isn’t that the idea?
