Kevin Todd Gerber has an extensive career in the music industry including major label released on Geffen Records & Warner Brothers Records. 
His band, King of Kings was discovered by Tesla Guitarist, Frank Hannon after seeing them play at NYC’s Limelight club.  King of Kings were signed by Tom Zutaut to Geffen records.
 
Kevin also composed and produced many songs for the band, Hesher. 
Hesher’s Warner Brothers release, “Self titled Debut” had contributions from artists like 
the Bad Brains. Everlast, Warren Haynes, Biz Markie, Sadat X & Cibo Matto. 
Kevin’s extensive career as a bassist for local acts in NYC included live gigs and recording sessions with Steve Holley (drummer for Paul Mcartney & Wings, Mott the Hoople)
 Deni Bonet, and live shows with Richard Barone of the Bongos. 

 When his son was born, Kevin made the decision to prioritize his family and make the shift away from the unstable life of a touring musician. Having grown up in a retail family who sold western hats in the 80’s, he transitioned into the hat business where he continued to work for the next 3 decades as a prominent figure in the hat industry, developing a huge fan base for his YouTube channel,”Hats & Guitars”, the #1 Hat channel in the world.
    
He has a long history in the hat industry, having starting selling Stetson hats in 1985 & continuing selling hats at NYC’s oldest and largest hat shop for 30 years, selling fine headwear to the stars.  
Some of his customers include Nick Cage, Brice Willis, Dickie Betts, Scarlett Johansson, Elvis Costello, Liza Minelli, Whoopie Goldberg, Juliette Binoche,Hugh Laurie,
 Smokey Robinson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Orlando Bloom, Run DMC and thousands of hat wearers all over the globe. 

Now he’s the owner and designer of KTG Hats, his own company, specializing in custom made, fur felt hats in authentic vintage styles, available hundreds of color combinations. 
By developing a huge clientele for over 30 years, KTG Hats was able to sell over 250 custom hats in their first year alone. 

With his YouTube podcast, “HATS & GUITARS” Kevin speaks to all the hat wearing guitarists and bassists all over the planet. With both expert tutorials on hat care and reviews of cool, new guitar gear, Kevin keeps it informative, entertaining and interesting for both Guitarists and Hat Wearers alike.
