Illumina is a multifaceted musician and songwriter based in Sapporo, Japan. Originally gaining recognition as the guitarist and founder of the heavy metal band “ArkRoyal” in 2017, she has since expanded into a vibrant solo career. Under her project “Illumina from ArkRoyal,” she continues to create music that blends powerful guitar work with expressive vocals.

With ArkRoyal, Illumina released CDs distributed nationwide, embarked on tours, and collaborated with acclaimed Japanese metal acts including “Oyama Maki” and “GALNERYUS.” In 2024, she launched her solo endeavor, releasing two singles—the first of which sold out—marking a new chapter in her artistic journey.

Looking ahead, Illumina is set to broaden her creative footprint across multiple domains, merging metal roots with fresh musical and visual expression.
