I have a GE-7 as well as the yellow plastic knockoff so I thought I was pretty well set. I saw the Sonicake pedal and something told me to check it out.
Boy was that a good move. First of all, the frequency range goes from nearly subsonic to higher than my guitars will ever go. Ten bands gives me incredible tone shaping flexibility, and the volume slider can be used to balance the output or even as a signal boost. The sliders have a center click which makes it easier to dial in a tone from a totally flat signal. I'll almost certainly buy another one for my small rig pedalboard.

I LOVE this eq pedal!!!
I bought this after researching between the MXR and this and i could not be happier! There is NO tone coloration with the bands set to neutral and the range of adjustment is more than enough to get your tome where it needs to be. I have tamed the fizz on the Peavey Triple X with this, if this pedal can do that, then it has my vote.
I reccommend if you want to produce clear, cutting highs, mellow lows and breakthrough mids. This little box does exactly as advertised.
