Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the low e string volume too low?
This usually happens when the low e string isn’t making full contact with the saddle and pickup. you can press down on the bridge saddle, or place a towel over the saddle and tap it gently to ensure the saddle makes full contact with the pickup. this usually fixes the issue.

It's really premium... I'm enjoying it a lot... and I've never been a fan of acoustic guitars... I recommend buying a guitar strap... because it's very light... if you're clumsy, you might easily drop it... and buy a wall mount... so you don't have to disassemble it every time you want to use it at home.

Great sound once it is dialed in

Initially I was unimpressed, but I found that the quality of the headphones has a profound effect on the sound quality. I also had to play with the settings to get something that pleased me, but once dialed in I very much like the sound. My only minor complaint is the low E string could be a little louder. The electronics volume seem to fade off as the frequency goes very low.

The Sonnicake guitar is amazing, very good. It arrived in perfect condition, even before the expected date of the 17th; it arrived today, the 13th. It came well packaged, with a very good case, a tuner, and an instruction manual. Everything arrived perfectly.

A GREAT GUITAR!

There are many comments regarding the low output of the E string, and they are not wrong, however the rest of the guitar is excellent. I have used pedals/EQ and my DAW, to even out the frequency discrepancy of the E string. WHY? Because the rest of the guitar is superb! I have a spine disease which disables me from lifting any other electric guitar in this price range and this being only 1.7 kilos is perfect for me. I would also mention that I have not seen such a well made neck on even an expensive guitar over recent years. The fret work is really good with no sharp ends. Over all setup, although a little high when it arrived, (which is normal these days), can easily be adjusted. (Although I would recommend a luthier if you do not have wood working skills which I do. See attached photo, as I required it to be lower than normal.) It looks and feels like a bone bridge saddle too, although I see no mention of the material anywhere, but when lowering it and it was extremely hard to sand down. Overall look, fit and finish throughout is really good too. A very satisfied guitarist here. Thank you Sonicake, I am finally able to play again!

I'm starting to play again; I thought about a "silent" acoustic guitar because I live in an apartment and have few hours to dedicate to the instrument.
Very easy to assemble, the controls are simple and intuitive. I tested it on the headphones and was surprised by the sound.
As others have mentioned in reviews, the sound of the "mizona" is lower than that of other strings, so I think I'll need to take it to a luthier to have it adjusted. I'll take this opportunity to install a lighter stringing as well.
Anyway, I am satisfied with the price paid and the quality of the product received.
