Description Hotone Skyline TUNER is a smart tiny tuner with the Skyline shape, with fast pitch detection technology and a big bright LED display－a real guarantee for your strings!
In addition, it provides a VOLUME knob to control the output volume when active (from mute to 12dB volume boost).
There are a bunch of tuners out there, and everybody's looking for the same basic things: fast response, accurate calibration, and a big and easily visible screen. Check, check, check.
With so many tuners on the market, why would we even think to make one of our own? Because the Hotone Skyline Tuner is designed to be better and offer way more.
It's smaller (you wouldn't waste precious space on your pedalboard with a tuner), faster(the fastest, actually), more refined, more durable, with a clearer and brighter screen, and you can adjust the tuning volume. That means you can use it as a mute or clean boost too! You know what the fact is, this tuner’s volume boost sounds a lot better than most of the boost pedals out there. The footswitch is true bypass, keeping the tone pure.
Why you need it: This tuner does it all and doesn’t take up space. You only need one tuner, and this is it.

Decent tuner, but the tuner on my Line 6 M5 is more accurate. It is very fast at detecting the note, but actually tuning it is another story.
It's a little touchy when down tuning. Easy to see
Just as it's advertized, it really does pick up the frequency and displays it instantly. However, there is a little downside to this. Although it does pick up the initial frequency that you play when plucking/strumming a string, that note is slightly sharp since there's force making the string tighter at the initial strum.
If you wanna tune with this guy with both speed and accuracy, I'd really recommend using the 12th fret harmonic, and strumming it with not too much force to avoid getting a sharp initial note.
Also, the little "handle" between the footswitch and display doesn't get in the way when pushing the bypass button. I've noticed some people over-exaggerate their experiences with not being able to push the bypass down due to the handle thing.
Also, the clean boost is a very nice touch. However, I wouldn't really use this as a clean boost. The frequencies of the LED lights illuminating are also caught in the signal. It's subtle, but it's there. Not noticeable when playing gigs, though.
Super fast response to guitar/bass signal. Output level control is great for quietly checking notes or crank it to use it like a boost. Display can be seen even outside. Pre cut velcro and rubber foot.(you choose) No battery can be a bummer but hey, WTF would they put it?
