Love it. I use this on my pedalboard allowing me quick access to effects it provides. Love that it has a D.I. Built in.

It's sturdy yet small. It works great. It's so intuitive that I could go live with it after a 30-minute testing.

So far it has been a great addition to my acoustic set-up. Solidly built. I mainly use the reverb and chorus both of which sound great. A very nice pedal.

I was looking for something solid and straightforward to fatten up the sound on my Heritage Sweet 16. This was exactly the right tool. It really is built well. It’s easy to use, which is a big bonus for me, and the sound quality is excellent - at least to my ears and running through my rig, which is a small Henricksen amp. I think this is a keeper.

Pros: built like a tank, small footprint, easy to use. Sounds are usable.
Cons: This pedal was advertised as having an f/x loop… It does not have one!
Three emails to the company as well as a inquiry on Facebook messenger with no response at all. Customer service department really needs to sharpen their skates!

I'm a solo singer/songwriter, mostly playing small venues (bars & such). I wanted effects so
I could vary my sound throughout the show to minimize the "sameness" of my playing. I put it in a simple pedal board with a tuner & power supply. I'm a "set it & forget it" kind of guy, & after finding which levels work best in general, I just use them in different combinations depending upon the song. Not counting the boost function, the Sonicake Wood gives 27 different effects combinations which more than meets my needs. I am still exploring the possibilities available. The price point is great. I am well pleased with the product & I recommend it to others.

First the case feels sturdy. Like the idea of one pedal doing the job of four, plus one power cord and one each in/out makes for quick and easy setup. The price is right to.

Like many other reviews have said, this pedal fights WAY above its weight class. I purchased it direct from Sonicake's website and got a 35% discount off of the already low price - so it was a no brainer.
I play a Taylor 410 CE and a Taylor T5 C2 and wanted a pedal for both. I already have a Fishman ToneDEQ - which is great. The Sonicake sounds every bit as good plus I can have delay AND chorus on at the same time - that was a bonus. And again, the Fishman was 4x the cost of the Sonicake.
All of the effects sound very good going through the Bose stick PA we use for our duo and I use the Sonicake's preamp as a boost for soloing in conjunction with the built-in preamps on the Taylors.
If the discount is available but this pedal now, hell, buy two - even if it's not it's still an insanely great price for the effects and metal construction. I daisy-chain power from my tuner which works perfectly. For my rock and roll band I play through a Mesa/Boogie and am strongly considering one of Sonicake's pedals for that rig.

The sounds are OK, but I'm getting this hum that's driving me crazy. I connect a Taylor 514ce to a TC Helicon Harmony singer then the sonicake to a Bose S-1 pro. I get this hum, when I disconnect the sonicake and go direct from the Harmony singer the hum is gone. I've tried different cables, power supplies, etc. same results. If I put my foot on one of the switches of the sonicake the hum goes away. Any advice on how I can use the wood without the noise?
